Buy & sell stablecoins in Canada

USDC, USDT and EURC in CAD or USD, funded by Interac e-Transfer or wire and withdrawn to a wallet you control.

01At a glance (stablecoins, chains, limits, fees)

USDC, USDT and EURC, bought with CAD or USD and sent to a wallet you control within about 10 minutes of your funds arriving. Networks: Ethereum, Solana, Tron (USDT) and Polygon for USDC and USDT; Ethereum and Solana for EURC. One all-in spread under 1%, no account fee, no fee to fund by Interac e-Transfer or wire. Interac limits are set by your bank — typically $3,000 CAD per transfer and $10,000 CAD per account — so larger buys go by wire. TokenNest never holds your coins.

02How to buy stablecoins in 3 steps

Open an account with your email and phone and verify your identity — most approvals take under 10 minutes. Fund in CAD by Interac e-Transfer or wire (USD by wire), then choose the stablecoin, the network and the amount; the screen shows the exact quantity you will receive and the network fee before you confirm. Paste your wallet address, confirm, and the coins arrive on-chain, usually within 10 minutes. The transaction hash is in your history for your records.

03Funding & withdrawal methods

In: Interac e-Transfer or wire for CAD; wire for USD. Out, when you sell: CAD by Interac e-Transfer, wire or EFT; USD by wire. Sales requested before 12:00 PT settle the same business day, later ones the next. Stablecoins themselves go out only to a wallet you control, on the network you pick — always check the address and network together, because a deposit sent on the wrong chain cannot be recovered.

04USDT vs USDC: which to choose

Both track the US dollar one-to-one. USDC is issued by Circle, a US company with monthly public reserve attestations, and is the default for people who value transparency and are paying US counterparties. USDT is issued by Tether, has the deepest liquidity worldwide, and is what most recipients in Asia, Latin America and Africa ask for — especially on Tron, where transfers cost cents. EURC (Circle) does the same for euros. For sending money abroad, choose what the recipient can spend or cash out most easily.

05Security & account protection

Two-factor authentication is required, not optional. Withdrawals to a new wallet address are confirmed by email, and you can lock the account to a list of approved addresses. Every wallet is screened with Chainalysis before funds move, which protects you from receiving tainted coins as much as it protects the platform. Because TokenNest is non-custodial, there is no hot wallet holding customer funds for an attacker to target — the coins are in your wallet, so keep your seed phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to be support.

Frequently asked questions
Are stablecoins insured or guaranteed? No. They are backed by the issuer's reserves — Circle publishes monthly attestations for USDC and EURC — but they are not bank deposits and not covered by CDIC. Hold what you need; if you want dollars for the long term, sell back to CAD or USD.
Which network should I choose? The one your recipient or destination supports. Solana and Polygon transfers cost under $0.10; Tron is the cheapest for USDT and the most used abroad; Ethereum costs more but is accepted everywhere. The withdrawal screen shows the fee for each before you confirm.
