Higher limits, accounting exports and dedicated support for companies holding or spending crypto.
A corporate account lets a Canadian-incorporated company buy and sell BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, EURC, BNB, XRP, SOL, TRX, HYPE and FIGR_HELOC in its own name, with the company's bank account as the only fiat rail. Fund in CAD by Interac e-Transfer or wire, or in USD by wire; sell back to CAD by wire, EFT or Interac e-Transfer, or to USD by wire. Spreads are under 1%, there is no monthly fee, and the desk takes over for any ticket of $100,000 CAD or more. Crypto settles to a wallet the company controls — TokenNest never holds it.
Articles of incorporation or the provincial/federal registry extract, the corporate registry number, an ownership chart naming every beneficial owner at 25% or more, government photo ID and proof of address for each director and authorised signatory, and a bank statement in the company's name dated within 90 days. Trusts and holding structures add the trust deed or the parent's ownership chart. Documents are uploaded once through the verification flow (run by Sumsub); a compliance officer reviews and, if anything is missing, tells you exactly what.
Corporate limits are set at onboarding based on the company's source of funds, and can be raised on request with supporting documents rather than capped at a retail figure. Purchases settle to your wallet within 10 minutes of funds arriving; sales settle to the corporate bank account the same business day for instructions before 12:00 PT, otherwise next business day. Business Interac e-Transfer is limited to $25,000 CAD per transfer, in and out; companies moving more than that in one go fund by wire. Onboarding takes 3–5 business days.
Every transaction is recorded with the executed price, spread, network fee, CAD equivalent at the time and, for crypto legs, the on-chain hash — the record the CRA expects for capital-property or inventory treatment and for GST/HST where crypto is received as payment. Export any period as CSV or connect QuickBooks or Xero directly. Month-end statements are generated automatically and can be delivered to your accountant, who can also be given read-only access.
Two-factor authentication is mandatory on every seat. Add users with distinct roles — viewer, trader, approver, admin — set per-user and per-day limits, require two approvals above a threshold you choose, and whitelist the wallet addresses and bank accounts that funds may leave to; withdrawals to a new address are confirmed by email. Every action is logged with user, time and IP, and the log is exportable for your auditors.
