What launched
TokenNest today opened cross-border payments for Canadian businesses: fund in CAD, pay suppliers, contractors and subsidiaries abroad in USDC, USDT or EURC the same business day, at an all-in cost under 1% plus a network fee of roughly $1. Payees in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia can instead receive local currency in their bank account through a payout partner. Batches of any size are approved on one screen; the per-batch limit is set at onboarding, with $1M+ CAD available.
Why
Canadian companies paying overseas lose 3–6% of every invoice to bank FX margins and correspondent fees, and wait three to five business days for the money to land. Stablecoins settle in minutes for cents; the missing piece was a regulated Canadian ramp that handles the CAD side, the compliance, and the reconciliation. That is the product: the business sees CAD out and a supplier paid, with a transaction hash as the payment reference.
How it works
Businesses complete corporate onboarding (incorporation documents, beneficial owners, a director's ID — one to two business days), add payees once, fund by Interac e-Transfer or wire, and approve. Every payee is screened against Canadian sanctions lists; payments to sanctioned jurisdictions are refused. Requests received before 12:00 PT settle the same business day. Statements export to CSV, QuickBooks and Xero.
